It is with a very heavy heart that I share with our Intranet Connections Family & Community the sudden passing of one of our team members at Intranet Connections, Brandon (Brando) Ricci. Our hearts go out to his family and friends during this very difficult time.

A Passionate Team Member

In August of this year, Brandon joined our Intranet Connections team as a Support Technician, diving in to help and connect with our Intranet Connections’ clients. He had a strong passion for technology and was eager to learn about web-based technologies, intranets, and different server environments.

A Quick Study

Brandon eagerly took on new challenges without hesitation. He was a quick study, taking on new customer tickets and remote sessions in the first weeks of working at Intranet Connections.

Brandon had a quiet confidence about him accompanied by an even-keeled nature, ideal for working on escalation issues as tension and stress rise in these situations. He loved working with the Intranet Connections’ Development Team, learning and absorbing the technical knowledge they shared as they troubleshot tickets together.

A Captivating Smile

Brandon had this smile, this joy that would captivate a room. It was genuine and bright, with a bit of a smirk behind it that showed his character.

He integrated himself into the Intranet Connections team from day one, whether it was inviting the office dogs into his domain or making time to play Foosball with teammates in the afternoons. Brandon was up for any event or activity we had in store.

For Halloween this year, Brandon happily dressed up in great spirit as a character from Star Trek and won our office Halloween Trivia contest. He also happily obliged our ‘gambling problem’ by participating in the NFL Football Pick ‘Em, weekly selecting his picks and discussing his selections with fellow Pick ‘Em entrants.

A Kind, Loving Heart

Brandon brought enthusiasm and quirkiness to our workplace, that will not be replaced. He was quick to compliment and notice subtleties, whether it be complimenting colleagues on a new shirt or haircut, or simply asking about our home life.

Brandon spoke of the people in his life with such love, respect, and kindness. You felt lucky to be a part of the life of this genuine, caring person, as you could tell he was grateful to be a part of your life as well.

Brando, You Will Be Missed

Brando  – you will be terribly missed as a colleague and as a friend. Our only regret is that we didn’t have you as a part of our team longer to have more time to get to know you.

Thank you to Brandon’s family, girlfriend, and friends for sharing him with us. Our lives are forever changed and better having known him.
